Bridgewater Bancshares director Jeffrey D. Shellberg sold $3,366,736 worth of company stock on August 5, 2026, the largest of seven open-market dispositions he has reported this year. The transaction, disclosed in a Form 4 filing the same day, involved 160,000 shares at an average price of $21.04.
He sold roughly 60% of his position, leaving him with 106,187 shares. No open-market purchases of $BWB by Shellberg have been reported in 2026.
Across the seven sales this year, Shellberg has unloaded 209,838 shares for a total of $4,292,810. The August block alone accounted for 76% of the shares and 78% of the dollar value. The earlier six transactions, spread from February 6 to May 21, totaled 49,838 shares at prices between $18.45 and $18.89. The August 5 sale, at $21.04, more than tripled his year-to-date volume in a single day.
His average selling price has climbed across each cluster of trades. In August 2025 he sold 32,273 shares near $16.03, followed by 1,687 shares and 6,040 shares later that month, and then 21,936 shares in December at $17.78.
Other insiders have sold $BWB in 2026, though on a much smaller scale. Director Thomas P. Trutna sold 13,000 shares for $253,691 in February. Director Mary Jayne Crocker sold 6,525 shares for $120,714 in May. Director James S. Johnson sold 4,712 shares for $92,894 in February. Chief Operating Officer Lisa M. Salazar sold 4,162 shares for $77,211 in May. Combined, those four dispositions totaled $544,510, a fraction of Shellberg’s $4.29 million.
Open-market buying has been scarce. Director David J. Volk bought 30,000 shares across two transactions in late October 2025, paying $523,542 at an average price near $17.45. The only 2026 insider purchase was a 205-share acquisition by Crocker in May, worth $4,100.
$BWB shares closed at $20.96 on August 4, the session before Shellberg’s sale. No members of Congress have disclosed trades in Bridgewater Bancshares under the STOCK Act.
